Library closed Thursday, too: No Alvar collection

The library system will be closed tomorrow (Thursday) as well, which means no food waste collection at Alvar Library this week. Apologies.

Library Closed = No Collection Wednesday (1/17)

Due to the weather, the New Orleans Public Library closed all locations on Wednesday, January 17. This means the food waste collection program is cancelled as well.

ALL SEVEN SITES AS OF JANUARY 2018:
Saturdays: Rosa Keller Library, 10:30-noon
Saturdays: Hubbell Library, 2:00 - 3:30pm (NEW)
Sundays: Norman Mayer Library, 2:00 - 3:30pm (NEW)
Mondays: Children's Resource Center Library, 4:00-5:30pm
Wednesdays: Carriage House Bookshop, 12:30-2:00pm
Wednesdays: Mid-City Library, 5:30-7:00 pm (NEW TIME)
Thursdays: Alvar Library, 5:30-7:00pm (NEW TIME)

Unfortunately we will NOT be startng a drop-off at Main Library. The library prefers to wait until after renovations in the Spring are complete to start the collection there.

Hello everyone! We are expanding in 2018, beginning January 3rd:
Every Saturday: Rosa Keller Library, 10:30am-12:00pm
Every Saturday: Hubbell Library, 2:00-3:30pm (NEW)
Every Sunday: Norman Mayer Library, 2:00-3:30pm (NEW)
Every Monday: Children's Resource Center Library, 4:00-5:30pm
Every Wednesday: Carriage House Bookshop behind Latter Library, 12:30-2:00pm
Every Wednesday: Mid-City Library, 5:30-7:00pm*
Every Thursday: Alvar Library,5:30-7:00pm*

*We will be starting/ending half an hour earlier on Wed & Thurs evenings
Note: we will NOT be expanding to Main Library in 2018 until after all renovations are complete, which may not be until the Fall.

Oct 19 Alvar Library collection CANCELLED

Due to the horrific shooting of the security guard at Alvar Library earlier this week, the Alvar Library is closed until Friday and our regular Thursday food waste drop-off is cancelled for this week. Apologies for the inconvenience.
